EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
CAUTION. Direct skin and eye contact may cause irritation or burns.
Appearance/Odor: Amber-colored liquid with a slight aromatic odor.
3. Hazards Identification
Primary Routes(s) Of Entry
Skin & Eye Contact, Inhalation
Eye Hazards
May cause eye irritation. Irritation may be severe, causing burns and leading to permanent eye damage.
Skin Hazards
May cause skin irritation. Irritation may be severe resulting in burns to the skin from prolonged contact. Harmful
if absorbed through skin. A minor constituent in this product is in a class of compounds that may cause
cholinesterase inhibition. Symptoms of such inhibition may include salivation, sweating, headache, nausea and
abdominal cramps.
Ingestion Hazards
Ingestion of significant quantities is thought to be unlikely. May be harmful if swallowed. Ingestion may cause: a
laxative effect, gastrointestinal upset, nausea and vomiting, central nervous system depression and neurological
disorders. Ingestion may result in injury to the liver and kidneys. May cause unconsciousness or death if
swallowed.

3. Hazards Identification - Continued
Inhalation Hazards
Inhalation of vapors or mists may cause irritation of the nose and throat. Prolonged or repeated inhalation may
cause: central nervous system depression, toxicity to the liver and kidneys. A minor constituent in this product is
in a class of compounds that may cause cholinesterase inhibition. Symptoms of such inhibition may include
salivation, sweating, headache, nausea and abdominal cramps.
Chronic/Carcinogenicity Effects
None of the ingredients of this product comprising over 0.1% are classified as carcinogenic according to OSHA,
National Toxicology Program (NTP), International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) or the American
Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH).
4. First Aid Measures
Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get
medical attention immediately.
Skin
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash affected areas with soap and water. Get medical attention
immediately if irritation (redness, rash, blistering) develops and persists.
Ingestion
Call a physician or a poison control center immediately.
Inhalation
Remove the person from the contaminated area to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing,
give artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: 269 癋
Flash Point Method: closed cup
Lower Explosive Limit: 7.1%
Upper Explosive Limit: 17.7%
Fire And Explosion Hazards
Thermal decomposition (burning) may release irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases, vapors and fumes. Closed
containers may explode when heated due to increased pressure. Do not puncture, cut open or reuse empty
containers.
Extinguishing Media
Use the appropriate extinguishing media for the surrounding fire. Water spray or fog, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry
chemical, alcohol foam.
Fire Fighting Instructions
Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective gear.
6. Accidental Release Measures
Eliminate all ignition sources. Contain and/or absorb spill with inert material (e.g. sand, vermiculite). Collect and
dispose. Avoid runoff to waterways and sewers.
7. Handling And Storage
Handling And Storage Precautions
Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from physical damage. Use
only with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Empty containers may contain hazardous
residue, do not reuse. Open containers slowly to allow any pressure build-up to vent safely. Do not open or
spray near eyes and face.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Engineering Controls
Use with adequate ventilation. When used outdoors, stay well away from building air intakes or close the intakes
to prevent product from entering building.
Eye/Face Protection
Safety glasses with side shields or goggles recommended.
Skin Protection
Use with chemical-protective gloves to prevent excessive skin contact. Chemical-resistant gloves made of rubber
can be used.
Respiratory Protection
The level of respiratory protection needed should be based on the evaluation of chemical exposures by a health
or safety professional. If required, use a NIOSH-approved air purifying respirator with organic vapor cartridge or
supplied air respirator.
Occupational Exposure Limits for individual ingredients (if available) are listed below.
