3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Emergency and Hazards Overview:
Mixture contains flammable component and the vapor may ignite explosively. Vapor is heavier than air and
may travel to distant sources of ignition and flash back. Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Overexposure to
vapor may cause lightheadedness, giddiness, stupor, headache, vertigo or central nervous depression. May
cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract.

Health Effect Information
Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation if wiped or rubbed into eyes.
Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation if wiped on the skin. Prolonged contact may cause Dermatitis.
Inhalation: High vapor concentration is irritating to the eyes and the respiratory tract. It may cause
headaches, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, pulmonary edema, anorexia, nausea, vomiting,, and
other central nervous system effects.
Ingestion: Moderately toxic. Small amount of the liquid aspirated into the respiratory system during
ingestion or vomiting may cause mild to severe pulmonary injury.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Prolonged exposure to vapor may aggravate allergic
reactions to nose, throat and lungs.

4. FIRST AID INFORMATION
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with large amount of water until irritation subsides. If irritation persists, get
medical attention.
Skin Contact: Flush with large amount of water, using soap if available. Remove contaminated clothing
including shoes and launder before reuse. See a physician if irritation develops.
Inhalation: Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the exposed person to fresh air.
Administer artificial respiration if breathing stops. Keep at rest. Call for prompt medical attention.
Ingestion: If swallowed contact a physician immediately. Keep at rest. Do not induce vomiting. Decision
induce vomiting should only be made by a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an
conscious person.
Notes to Physician: This product contains heptane, toluene, and naphtha light aliphatic solvent.

Lower Percent: 1
Autoignition Temperature: 437篎 Test Method: NA
NFPA Classification: H 2 F 3 R 0
Extinguishing Media: CO2, foam or dry chemicals.
Fire Fighting Measures:
Special Fire Fighting Procedures and Equipment: Firemen must wear full-face air-supplied mask and
full protective clothing. Use water spray only to cool containers. Do not spray water on leaked
material. Wear NIOSH/OSHA approved, self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective
gear. Liquid or vapor may settle in low areas or travel along ground to ignition sources where they
may ignite or explode and flash back.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Conditions: Vapor may be ignited by heat or sparks. Heat-exposed
containers may burst. Material may collect static charges which can cause an incendiary electrical
discharge. Empty container contains product residues. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, drill, grind or
expose containers to heat flame, sparks, static electricity or other sources of ignition. They may
explode and cause injury or death. Either the liquid or vapor may settle in low areas or travel some
distance along the ground or surface to ignition sources where they may ignite or explode.
Hazardous Combustion By-Products: CO, CO2, unburned hydrocarbons and acrid fumes.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personnel Safeguards: Immediately evacuate all non-essential personnel to safe places. Emergency
responders should wear proper protective gears before entering the affected area.
Observe all precautions noted above.
Regulatory Notifications: Waste of this product is defined as hazardous according to U.S. EPA. Spill
reporting requirements and reportable quantities vary by region. Consult all applicable state and
local regulations. For Canada, observe all precautions noted above.
Containment and Clean up: Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking.
Ventilate. Stop leak if possible without risk. Do not use metal shovels or other tools which could
create sparks. Prevent liquids from entering sewers, drains or waterways by diking with sand or
earth. Absorb with vermiculite or other absorbent material and remove for disposal.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE INFORMATION
Handling: Eliminate all ignition sources. Provide good ventilation. Avoid prolonged

contact with the skin. Use solvent resistant gloves. Avoid rubbing eyes while handling.
Storage: Store in cool, dry, ventilated space away from direct sunlight. Keep away from heat, sparks, open
flames, electrical equipment, welding torches, pilot lights, etc.
Empty Container Warnings:
Drums: Do not reuse empty drums. Do not cut, drill, grind or weld on or near the empty drums.
Plastic: Not applicable.
