EXTINGUISHING MEDIUM: Water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical. AUTO-IGNITION TEMPERATURE: ND
EXPLOSION: Above flash point, vapor-air mixtures may be explosive within flammable limits noted above. Closed containers
may rupture when heated. Sensitive to static discharge.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIUM: Water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained
breathing apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Hazardous combustion products may include and are not limited to oxides of carbon.
Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: For large spills, wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing
apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.
MATERIAL RELEASED OR SPILLS: Small spills may be absorbed with non-reactive absorbent material and placed in suitable,
covered, labeled containers. Prevent large spills from entering sewers, waterways, and soil. Keep materials away from heat
and sources of ignition.
Section 7: Handling and Storage
STORAGE: Store in accordance with NFPA 30B for extremely flammable liquids. Keep out of reach of children. Store closed
container upright away from incompatible materials and food. Do not store near heat, flame, sparks or other forms of ignition.
In closed spaces, provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep airborne concentrations of vapors below
their respective threshold limit value.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Containers of this material may be hazardous when emptied. Do not re-use empty containers.
Section 8: Exposure Controls and Personal Protection
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: None required in normal usage.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: General ventilation normally adequate. SPECIAL: NA
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Not needed in normal use
EYE PROTECTION: Not required under normal conditions, but always advisable when using chemical products.
