HEALTH EFFECTS
ACUTE EFFECTS OF OVER EXPOSURE
SWALLOWED No acute toxicity data available. Not expected to cause health effects.
EYE CONTACT Irritating, causing redness and burning sensation.
SKIN CONTACT Can cause mild skin irritation or dermatitis, and may cause moderate to strong sensitizing of skin
on prolonged or repeated contact.
INHALED Not expected to be an inhalation hazard under normal conditions.
Vapour at elevated temperatures may cause respiratory irritation.
CHRONIC EFFECTS OF No acute toxicity data available. Irritation and sensitization of the skin after prolonged exposure,
OVER EXPOSURE or repeated contact is possible.
OTHER HEALTH Can be classified as practically non-toxic, and at most, slightly toxic percutaneously. Eye irritation
is expected to be, at most moderate.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID
SWALLOWED No specific measures are indicated as not expected to cause adverse health effects.
EYES Flush eyes with copious quantities of fresh water for at least fifteen (15) minutes.
Retract eyelids frequently. Seek medical attention immediately!
SKIN Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If skin irritation occurs, the affected should be
removed from all association with solvents, resins, curing agents and formulated mixtures and
referred to a doctor.
INHALATION No specific measures are necessary at normal temperatures. Vapour of mixed product at elevated
temperatures can cause mild irritation. Remove the affected to fresh air source.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN
If skin sensitization has developed, and a causal relationship has been confirmed, further exposure to this product and
analogous compounds should not be allowed. Treat Symptomatically.
