Remove all possible sources of fire: e.g. open fire, lit cigarette, sparks from tools and equipment.
Suitable extinguishing agents:
Alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical powder, CO2, dry sand or powdered limestone, water spray.
Unsuitable extinguishing agents:
Thick water jet.
Special hazards arising from the product itself, products formed as a result of its incineration or
gasses formed:
Take into consideration that dangerous gas products such as ammonia gases, nitrogen gases, carbon
oxide may be formed during the product's burning. Using water may lead to very toxic water
solutions.
Special protective equipment:
Wear full protective equipment and a gas mask. Avoid contact with skin
Additional instructions:
Extinguish fire in the wind direction. Cool the non-burning packages by spraying with water. Prevent
spillage and remove the packages to a safety place. Water, contaminated from fire fighting must be
collected separately, do not allow it to penetrate the sewers or waste waters.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions:
Remove all possible sources of ignition. Prevent the accumulation of vapours in closed premises. Stop
the spillage if possible. Wear protective clothing, gloves, boots and eye protection.
Environment precautions:
Prevent spillage in water basins, tanks, basements, drains and sewerage. If the spilled product has
penetrated into water basins, sewerage, the soil or plants, advise the Fire brigade and the Police.
Methods for cleaning up:
In case of spillages surround the spilled mass with soil, sand or other inert absorbents. Safely transfer
this mixture into an appropriate container for chemical wastes and to an approved waste disposal sites.
In case of large spillages collect the spilled material with vacuum trucks.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE OF THE PRODUCT

Safe handling:
Provide adequate ventilation when handling or keeping the product. Do not exceed the concentration
limits given in item 8. Avoid contact with skin and the eyes. Do not eat or drink at the workplace. Do
not smoke. Observe the fire prevention measures. Do not pollute the environment.
Storage:
Keep only in original, tightly closed containers, away from reach of children and other unauthorized
personnel in sheltered, dry and ventilated storehouses, away from direct sunlight. Store away from
acids and alkali.
