faintness, decreased awareness, and responsiveness, lack of coordination, abdominal discomfort, nausea,
vomiting, and diarrhea. May cause visual system damage, progressing from blurred vision to complete
blindness.
Chronic: Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with
permanent brain and nervous system damage. Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure: Through breathing,
swallowing, and or passage of material through the skin may include; stomach or intestinal upset, nausea
and vomiting, diarrhea, irritation of the nose throat and airways, central nervous system depression, which
include; dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, and unconsciousness.
TARGET ORGAN EFFECTS: Nervous system.
