Oral Exposure
If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician.
Inhalation Exposure
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration but NOT by mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen. Call a physician.
Dermal Exposure
In case of skin contact, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing
and shoes. Call a physician.
Eye Exposure
In case of contact with eyes, flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with
fingers. Call a physician.

Inhalation: Irritant to respiratory tract.
Carcinogenicity: Not a known carcinogen
Effects of Acute Exposure: Exposure to 2amino2methyl1propanol by inhalation may cause irritation of upper respiratory tack and mucous
membrane. Inhalation of large amounts may cause burning sensation, headache, shortness of breath, coughing, and wheezing. Ingestion may cause
nausea, vomiting, and possible gastrointestinal congestion and hemorrhage. Eye and skin contact may cause irritation and damage to the eyes and skin,
respectively. Systemic poisoning in small animals due to skin absorption has been reported.
Effects of Chronic Exposure: Prolonged or repeated exposure to 2amino2methyl1propanol may result in conjunctivitis and dermatitis.
