SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES

EYES: Immediately flush eyes with a directed stream of water for at least 15 minutes, forcibly
holding eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation of all eye and lid tissue. Remove
contact lenses, if present, after the first five minutes and continue rinsing the eye. Call a
physician or poison control center immediately.
SKIN: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water while removing contaminated clothing and
shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. If irritation occurs, get medical attention.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance,
and then give artificial respiration. If respiration stops have a trained person administer
artificial respiration. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.
INGESTION: Never give anything to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control
center immediately. Have person rinse mouth with water. If able to swallow, have the
person sip water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Possible mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric
lavage.

SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES


May create slippery conditions when spilled. Contain spill and pump into marked containers for
disposal. Small spills may be soaked up with compatible adsorbent material and placed in
sealable containers for disposal. Make sure area is clean and slip-free before re-opening for
traffic.

Additionally, for large spills: Dike far ahead of liquid spill for collection and later disposal.

There may be additional regulatory reporting requirements associated with spills, leaks, or
releases of this product.

SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE


HANDLING: Use clean tools. Use only with adequate local exhaust ventilation. Avoid
generating vapors or mists. Do not breathe vapor or mist. Use in a well
ventilated area.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing, and shoes.
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after use.
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes, and protective
equipment. Wash before reuse.
