STABILITY AND REACTIVITY Product is stable. Hygroscopic. Hazardous decomposition products include hydrogen chloride gas and iron
oxides. Incompatible with allyl chloride, metals, potassium and sodium. Hazardous polymerization will not
occur.

EYES : May c ause sev ere eye irritatio n. Conta ct can ca use blurre d vision, red ness, pain and sev ere tissue b urns.
SKIN: May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this
material. Exposure may cause irritation and possible burns.
INHALATION: M ay cause irritation to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Symptoms may include
burning s ensation , coughin g, whe ezing, laryn gitis, shortne ss of brea th, heada che, nau sea and vomiting .
INGESTION: May cause gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause delayed
effects includ ing cardiov ascular dis turbanc es, liver/kidne y dam age, cere bral swe lling, coma and dea th.
Repeated exposure may increase iron levels in the liver, spleen and lymphatic system. Pink urine
discoloration is a strong indicator of iron poisoning.
