SECTION VI HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Exposure Limits in Air
Chemical Name AOGTH (TWA) OSHA (TWA) Other
Tributylphosphate 0.2ppm (2.2mg/m) 0.2ppm (2.5mg/m)
Acute Signs/Effects of Overexposure:
Swallowing: Low acute oral toxicity. No deaths in rats were observed at 5,000 mg/kg for polydimethylsiloxane. For
Tributylphosphate, acute oral/rat LD50: 3,000mg/kg.

Eye Contact: Polydimethylsiloxane fluids are non-irritating to rabbit eyes. Tributylphosphate can cause eye
irritation.
Skin Contact: Polydimethylsiloxane fluids are non-irritating to intact and abraded rabbit skin. Tributylphosphate can
cause skin irritation.
Inhalation: This is a viscous fluid that does not easily form a mist or vapor and, therefore, inhalation hazards are
minimal.
Skin Absorption: Animal tests for similar polydimethylsiloxane fluids suggest very low acute dermal toxicity.
Tributylphosphate may be absorbed thru the skin.

Other: None Known
Chronic Effects of Overexposure: None Known

Emergency and First Aid Procedures:
Ingestion If swallowed and victim is fully conscious, induce vomiting immediately by giving two glasses of water
and sticking finger down throat. GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.
Skin Wash with soap and water
Inhalation Although it would be difficult to inhale this product, seek medical attention if it should occur.
Eyes In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical
attention if irritation persists.

Note to Physician: All treatments should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress in the patient. Consideration should be given to the
possibility that overexposure to the materials other than this product may have occurred.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION VII - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
Spill Response: Wipe, scrape or soak up in an inert material and put in a container for disposal. Wash walking surfaces with detergent and water to
reduce slipping hazard.

Disposal Method: Disposal should be made in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Incineration recommended in approved
incinerator according to Federal, State, and Local regulations..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION VIII - PROTECTION AND PRECAUTIONS
Ventilation: Provide adequate ventilation
Respiratory Protection: None Known
Eye and Face Protection: Safety Glasses
Protective Gloves: work clothing and gloves
