4 FIRST-AID MEASURES

GENERAL INFORMATION
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

INHALATION
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. When breathing is difficult,
properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering oxygen.
INGESTION
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! If vomiting occurs, keep head
low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs. Drink plenty of water. Get medical attention immediately! Provide rest, warmth and
fresh air.
SKIN CONTACT
Remove affected person from source of contamination. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water.
Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
EYE CONTACT
Immediately flush with plenty of water. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Call an ambulance and continue flushing
during transportation to hospital. Bring these instructions. May cause permanent damage if eye is not immediately irrigated.

Fire can be extinguished using: Foam. Dry chemicals, sand, dolomite etc.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
Use pressurised air mask if product is involved in a fire. Cool containers exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out.

UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS
Fire causes formation of toxic gases.

SPECIFIC HAZARDS
The product is flammable, and heating may generate vapours which may form explosive vapour/air mixtures.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE
Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground.

SPILL CLEAN UP METHODS
Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate. Absorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent
material. Collect spillage in containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal according to local regulations. Do not contaminate water
sources or sewer.

7 HANDLING AND STORAGE

USAGE PRECAUTIONS
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Ventilate well, avoid breathing vapours. Use
approved respirator if air contamination is above accepted level.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Flammable/combustible - Keep away from oxidisers, heat and flames. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and
well-ventilated place. Keep in original container.

Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of liquid contact and repeated or prolonged vapour contact. Provide eyewash station.

HYGIENE MEASURES
DO NOT SMOKE IN WORK AREA! Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Promptly remove
any clothing that becomes contaminated. Wash promptly with soap & water if skin becomes contaminated. Use appropriate skin cream to
prevent drying of skin. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
