3. HAZARDOUS IDENTIFICATION
ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Inhalation, Skin, Eyes and Ingestion.
IMMEDIATE EFFECTS:
INHALATION: This product may be harmful by inhalation. Excessive inhalation causes headache, dizziness,
nausea and loss of coordination.
SKIN CONTACT: Can cause moderate skin injury (reddening and swelling). Repeated or prolonged contact can cause
drying of skin and dermatitis.
EYE CONTACT: Liquid and vapors are irritating to eyes. Symptoms include itching, burning, redness and tearing.
INGESTION: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE:
Significant exposure to these chemicals may adversely affect people with chronic disease of the respiratory system, skin,
central nervous system and/or eyes.

INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Provide oxygen if breathing
is difficult. Seek medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Flush with water while removing contaminated clothing. Wash skin immediately with soap and
water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes thoroughly with running water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: If the material is swallowed, get immediate medical attention. Give several glasses of water or
milk.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
GENERAL FIRE HAZARDS: Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along ground to ignition source and flash back.
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Extinguish with alcohol foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or water.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Wear full protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.

PRECAUTIONS FOR PERSONNEL: Wear protective clothing. Use self-contained breathing apparatus if required.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Avoid discharge to drains, sewers and natural water supply.
PROCESS FOR CLEANING: Stop flow of material. Absorb with inert material such as dry clay, sand or
commercial absorbents. Remove sources of ignition. Shovel material with non-
sparking tools into waste container.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING: Ventilate work area sufficiently. Keep containers closed. Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact with this
material.
STORAGE: Keep container tightly closed and store in cool, well-ventilated place. Do not freeze. Do not store,
incinerate or heat this material 120 F (48 C).
