3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYE CONTACT: Corrosive. Causes burns resulting in permanent injury to eyes including blindness.
SKIN CONTACT: Causes skin burns. Brief exposures may cause irritation and defatting of the skin.
INGESTION: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
INHALATION: Inhalation of vapors or mists may cause irritation of the throat and respiratory tract. High
vapor concentrations may cause central nervous system effects.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15 minutes holding eyelids open. Get medical
attention immediately.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush area with large amounts of water for 15-20 minutes. Get medical
attention immediately.
INGESTION: Drink 3-4 glasses of milk or water. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. Give oxygen, if needed. Get medical attention immediately.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

similar formulas and potential ingredient interactions. This review is a component of the hazard determination used to
prepare the statements in Section 3 of the MSDS.
