10. Stability and Reactivity
This is a stable material.
Stability:
Hazardous polymerization will not occur.
This product may react with alkali metals.
Conditions and Materials to Avoid:
This product may react with strong oxidizing agents (bleach--sodium
hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, permanganate,
nitric acid, concentrated OXYGEN, perchlorates).

11. Toxicological Information
This product is an asphyxiant gas which can cause
Inhalation:
unconsciousness/death if OXYGEN levels are sufficiently reduced.
Simple asphyxiants displace oxygen in air and can cause symptoms of
oxygen depreivation (asphyxiation) when present in high enough
concentrations to significantly lower the oxygen concentration. Air
normally contains approximately 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. The
oxygen content must not fall below 18% or harmful effects will result.
Effects of oxygen deficiency are: 12-16% - breathing and pulse rate
increase, muscular coordination is slightly disturbed; 10-14% -
emotional upset, abnormal fatigue, distrubed respiration; 6-10% -
nausea and vomiting, collapse or loss of consciousness; below 6% -
convulsive movements, possible respiratory collapse and death.
Excessive inhalation of this material causes headache, dizziness,
nausea and incoordination.
