History/Overview of Varsal
Varsal was founded and incorporated in Delaware USA in 1993 by Dr. Pingxin Wang, an analytical chemist
specializing in spectroscopy. Since then, Varsal has grown from a small manufacturer of analytical instruments and
accessories to an international producer of specialty chemicals while continuing to supply instruments, parts and
consumables. Varsal's customer base extends throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. All chemicals and
instruments are produced to meet American and European quality standards.

Varsal headquarters is located at Warminster, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. This facility has a fully equipped
office, laboratory, as well as manufacturing, packaging and storage space. There are four wholly owned production
facilities in China along with various warehouse locations around the globe.

Varsal has two divisions: Chemicals and Instruments.

Varsal's chemical division manufactures specialty chemicals, custom chemicals, and provides chemical sourcing
services. Varsal is able to offer a wide range of packaging options. These include bulk shipments, intermediate bulk
containers (totes), drums, bags, and pails.

Varsal's instruments division produces precision analytical instruments, parts and consumable supplies serving
academic and industrial laboratories. Our current product line includes the LC-2008 HPLC system, V-800
Microwave Digestion System, AAS-2004 Atomic Absorption System, and other specialized analytical instruments.

Varsal continues to succeed by expanding complementary business lines and by building long-term "win-win"

1. Sulfonyl Chemicals
VARSAL's Sulfonyl chemical products are made at Varsal's wholly owned subsidiary: Varsal
Chemical Tangshan Co., Ltd., a GMP compliant and ISO-9000 certified facility located at
Tangshan Seaport Industrial Development Zone, Tangshan, Hebei, China.

We have the ability to custom manufacture other sulfonyl chemicals upon request, please

1.1 Dimethyl Disulfide (DMDS)

Varsal advantage: Varsal's DMDS is made from dimethyl sulfate, the process is clean and there is no
methyl mercaptan odor.

1.2 Methanesulfonic chloride (MSC)

Varsal advantage: Varsal's MSC is made from the chlorination of DMDS. The process is clean, no
methyl mercaptan odor and no detectable impurities of methyl methane thiosulfonate. It is ideal for
pharmaceutical applications.
