3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Toxicity: Eye and skin irritant. Aspiration hazard if
swallowed. Ethyl acetate produce anemia. May cause
dizziness or narcosis in high vapor concentration.
Will cause defatting of skin. Long term exposure
to high concentrations of vapor may cause lung,
liver, or kidney damage. Solvents have been
reported to affect the central nervous system.
Primary Routes of Entry: Inhalation, ingestion, skin contact
Signs and symptoms
of Exposure: Headache, nausea, dizziness. Narcosis at high
concentrations. Difficulty in breathing. Redness
of skin; vomiting from ingestion.
Existing Conditions
Aggravated by Exposure: Heart diseases, respiratory disorders.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Keep individual calm.
Use gastric lavage. Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain
medical attention. Give oxygen.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water.
Eye Contact: Flush at least 15 minutes with water. Obtain
medical attention.
