------------------------------------------------------------------------
6 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Use fire extinguishers with class B extinguishing agents (e.g.,
dry chemical, carbon dioxide).
FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self-contained,
positive pressure or positive pressure demand self-contained
breathing apparatus, tunic and pants, bands around arms, waist and
legs, full facepiece, and protective covering for exposed areas of
the head.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
Closed containers exposed to heat from fire may build pressure and
explode. Vapours may travel long distances along the ground or
floor to an ignition source and flash back.
EXPLOSION AVOIDANCE
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flame, and other sources of
ignition.

Special Instructions for Fire Fighting
Aerosol container contains flammable material under pressure.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES (SPILL)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personal Precautions
Refer to other sections of this MSDS for information regarding
physical and health hazards, respiratory protection, ventilation,
and personal protective equipment.
Spill Response
Evacuate unprotected and untrained personnel from hazard area. The
spill should be cleaned up by qualified personnel. Extinguish all
ignition sources. Ventilate area with fresh air. In accordance
with good industrial hygiene practice, provide exhaust ventilation
for large spills or in confined spaces. Contain spill. Working
from around the edges of the spill inward, cover with commercially
available inorganic absorbent material until it appears dry. Cover
spill area with a fire-extinguishing foam. An aqueous film
forming foam (AFFF) is recommended. Remember, adding an absorbent
material does not remove a toxic, corrosive or flammable hazard.
Collect as much of the spilled material as possible using
non-sparking tools. Collect the resulting residue containing
solution. Clean up residue with an appropriate solvent selected
by a qualified and authorized person. Ventilate the area with
fresh air. Read and follow safety precautions on the solvent label
and MSDS. Place in an approved metal container. Seal the
container. Dispose of collected material as soon as possible.
Methods for Disposal
Incinerate in a permitted hazardous waste incinerator in the
presence of a combustible material. Disposal facilities must be
capable of handling aerosol cans. Dispose of empty product
containers in a sanitary landfill. Dispose of waste product in a
facility permitted to accept chemical waste.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 HANDLING AND STORAGE
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Storage Requirements

temperatures below 50 degrees C.

9 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PROTECTION
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Special Information, Exposure/Protection
The extent to which the following recommendations for exposure
control and protection are observed should depend on the risk
assessment undertaken for the specific conditions under which this
product is used, including occupational hygiene measurements.
Eye Protection
Avoid eye contact with vapour, spray, or mist. During operations
in which eye exposure is likely, the following should be worn
alone, or in combination, as appropriate: Safety glasses with side
shields. Eye protection should comply with AS/NZS1337.
Hand Protection
Gloves made from one of the following material(s) are recommended:
Nitrile rubber. Fluoroelastomer (Viton).
Skin Protection
Avoid skin contact.
Respiratory Protection
Avoid breathing vapours, mists or spray. During operations in
which inhalation exposure is likely, respiratory protection should
be used. Select and use respirators in accordance with
AS/NZS1715. When required, use one of the following:
Half facepiece or fullface air-purifying respirator with organic
vapor cartridges For information about respirators, call 3M on

Prevention of Accidental Ingestion
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash your
hands thoroughly with soap and water after product use and before
eating or smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
Recommended Ventilation
Do not use in a confined area or areas with little or no air
movement. If appropriate, use local exhaust ventilation. Provide
ventilation adequate to control vapour concentrations below
recommended exposure limits and/or control spray or mist. Use
general dilution ventilation and/or local exhaust ventilation to
control airborne exposures to below Occupational Exposure Limits.
If ventilation is not adequate, use respiratory protection
equipment.
