Special Firefighting Procedures: Care should be taken not to spray water into acid as this may produce heat and

Hand Protection: For routine purposes, i.e., one-time use situations where protection from intermittent
contact or splash is needed, disposable natural or synthetic latex or disposable nitrile
gloves offer adequate protection. Gloves should be changed daily or after
contamination.
For clean-up of large spills, use thicker gauge gloves (10 mil or more) made of
neoprene, nitrile, or butyl rubber or PVC.
Respiratory Protection/Ventilation: Use laboratory fume hood or equivalent.
Protective Clothing: Wear laboratory jacket or coat.
Eye/Face Protection: Use OSHA approved safety glasses.

Effects of Overexposure:
Sulfuric acid is corrosive to all body tissues and causes severe acid burns. Inhalation of fumes can cause damage to lungs.
Repeated contact with dilute solutions can cause dermatitis. This product contains a small amount (鈮?1% w/v) of Chromium
trioxide, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.
