Special Firefighting Procedures: Containers should be cooled with water to prevent vapor pressure build-up. Use equipment or water to prevent vapor
pressure build up. Use shielding to protect personnel from bursting, rupturing or venting containers.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: At elevated temps (>120? containers exposed to heat should be cooled with water.
SECTION V - REACTIVITY DATA
Stability: Stable Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.
Incompatibility: Strong oxidizing agents, heat and open flame.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: CO, CO2, and additional toxic chemicals may be formed in small amounts.
SECTION VI - STORAGE AND HANDLING
Precautions to be taken in handling and storage: Avoid breathing vapor. Keep away from heat and flame. Do not puncture or incinerate containers.
Do not expose to direct sunlight or store above 120癋. Store as Level 1 Aerosol (NFPA 30B).
Other Precautions: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
SECTION VII - HEALTH AND FIRST AID
Respiratory: irritation, high concentrations may produce headache, dizziness and nausea. Skin: prolonged or repeated contact may cause drying,
irritation or dermatitis. Possible skin absorption. Eye: burning and irritation. This product contains 2-Butoxyethanol, which if ingested in significant
quantities may result in red blood cell hemolysis.
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: See "Health Hazards" above.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: May aggravate preexisting eye or skin disorders.
Primary Routes of Entry: Inhalation, skin, eyes and ingestion.
First Aid Procedures:
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Wash skin with soap and water. If irritation occurs, seek medical aid.
Eyes: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion: Contact local poison control center or physician immediately.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Provide oxygen if breathing difficult. Give A.R. if not breathing. Get medical attention.
SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION DATA
Respiratory Protection: None required if good ventilation is maintained. If vapor conc. Exceeds TLV, use NIOSH approved S.C.B.A.
Ventilation: Local exhaust - adequate ventilation to keep vapor below TLV. Mechanical ventilation is optional.
Protective Glove: Chemical resistant gloves.
Eye Protection: Chemical safety glasses recommended.
SECTION IX - SPILL OR LEAK PROTECTION
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF SPILL OR LEAK: Remove all sources of ignition and ventilate area. Soak up spill with an inert absorbent and place
into a designated disposal container.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Do not puncture or incinerate containers. When contents are depleted continue to depress button until all gas is expelled.
Dispose of container in accordance with local, state and federal government.
