EYE IRRITATION In studies on rabbits, MPG-CAPS proved to be non-irritating to
the eyes.

SKIN IRRITATION In studies on rabbits, MPG-CAPS proved to be non-irritating to
either abraded or intact skin. LD50 dermal rat: 3,000 mg/kg.

SYSTEMIC EFFECTS MPG-CAPS are moderately toxic by ingestion or inhalation
(acute oral LD50, rat: 1320 mg/kg; acute inhalation LC50>
150mg/m?or 20 ppm). Chronic ingestion has produced liver
damage in experimental animals.


EMERGENCY FIRST-AID PROCEDURES


EYE CONTACT Flush eyes immediately and thoroughly with large amounts of
Flowing water; continue for at least 15 minutes. Consult a
Physician if irritation persists.

SKIN CONTACT Wash promptly an thoroughly with water, then with soap and
water. Remove any contaminated clothing at once and wash before
reuse.

INHALATION Remove at once to fresh air. Administer oxygen if breathing is
difficult. Administer artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.
Consult a physician.

INGESTION Drink 1-2 glasses of milk or water and consult a physician. Do not
Induce vomiting. (Do not give fluids if individual is unconscious or is
having convulsions.)


SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

EYE PROTECTION Safety glasses and face shield, or chemical safety goggles.
RESPIRATORY None required under normal working conditions. If dust is excessive
PROTECTION an approved respirator, dust mask, or fresh air mask should be worn.
SKIN PROTECTION Protective gloves.
VENTILATION Local mechanical exhaust.
