1. PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
Sysmex STROMATOLYSER-IMTM is a lytic reagent for use with designated Sysmex Automated
Hematology Analyzers. It is provided in a cardboard cube with 10-liter plastic liner.

3. PHYSICAL DATA
Clear, odorless liquid, easily foamed. Specific gravity is 1.014. The exact physical properties of
this solution have not been established; however, it is expected that its properties will be similar to
water which is its major component.

Not combustible. In fire conditions, may emit carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
5. REACTIVITY DATA
Stable solution, non-reactive.
6. TOXICOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Limited toxicology data available. Mild irritant to skin, eyes, and if mist is generated, through
inhalation. Ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

7. FIRST AID MEASURES
Ingestion: Obtain medical attention. Dilute by drinking 4 to 8 oz. of water or milk. If vomiting
occurs, turn patient on side and keep head lower than hips.
Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Seek medical advice if necessary.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with water.
Eye Contact: Promptly wash eyes with water, lifting lower and upper lids until all traces of
irritation is removed. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
8. PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES
Wear gloves, safety glasses or goggles and a lab coat. Dike, contain and absorb the spill with
neutral absorbent material, place in a container for disposal. Dispose of waste in accordance with
applicable local, state and federal environmental regulations.
9. STORAGE AND SPECIAL INFORMATION
Store at controlled room temperature not exceeding 30癈, to ensure reagent performance.
