Fighting Procedures: Although this product is not combustible, if a fire occurs in the near vicinity, good firefighting practice dictates the use of self-contained
breathing apparatus and other protective gear.
Unusual Fire And
Explosion Hazards: If the stock solution container breaks, the product should be handled with care as it is corrosive. Product dust can be an explosion hazard.
Prevent buildup of dust on walls, floors, and equipment. Toxic fumes may be released.



V. HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Carcinogenic: The raw materials used in this product are not considered to be a carcinogen by ACGIH and OSHA.

Effects Of Over-exposure: Corrosive. Contact with the eyes will cause severe irritation, pain, reddening and possibly, damage to the cornea. Depending on the
duration of eye contact, damage to the cornea may be irreversible. Product can act as a corrosive agent to the skin, especially if contact is
prolonged. May irritate and cause burns of the mouth and throat. Symptoms may include burning pain of the mouth, throat and stomach
followed by vomiting. May irritate the nose, throat and respiratory tract with symptoms such as sore throat, coughing and difficulty
breathing.
Emergency And First
Aid Procedures: EYES: Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes, raise eyelids for complete rinsing. Get prompt medical attention.
SKIN: Immediately wash skin with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Remove contaminated
clothing, shoes and wash before reuse.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. Get immediate medical attention.
INGESTION: DO NOT induce vomiting. Give large quantities of water or milk. Get immediate medical attention. Never give anything
by mouth to an unconscious person.

Conditions To Avoid: Avoid high temperatures.

Incompatibility: This product is incompatible with strong alkalines, strong oxidizers, chlorites and hypochlorites and combustible materials. In contact
with iron and iron compounds, may react rapidly to form ferric oxalate. Contact with silver may form explosive silver oxalate. Oxalic
(Materials To Avoid) Acid Dihydrate in solution is corrosive to metals.

Decomposition Products: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, formic acid.



VII. SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled:
Evacuate nonessential personnel. Wear appropriate personal protection equipment. Completely contain spilled material, and
prevent run-off into ground or surface waters or sewers. Recover as much material as possible into containers for disposal. If
sweeping of a contaminated area is necessary use a dust suppressant agent, which does not react with product. Remaining
material may be diluted with water and neutralized with lime or other base. Neutralization products, both solid and liquid, must be
recovered for disposal.




Waste Disposal Method: Dispose of in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.




VIII. SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection is not required for normal use. If dust level is high, wear NIOSH approved respirator.



Ventilation: Local mechanical exhaust ventilation capable of maintaining dust emissions at the point of use below the TLV.


Protective Gloves: Rubber or neoprene.
Eye Protection: Safety glasses with side shields or chemical goggles.



Protective Clothing: Wear impervious boots and clothing to avoid skin contact.




IX. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Precautions To Be Taken In Handling And Storing:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing dusts. Use with adequate ventilation.
Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Store containers in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight, sources of
intense heat. Store containers away from incompatible chemicals. Empty containers may contain residual particulates; therefore,
empty containers should be handled with care. Never store food, feed, or drinking water in containers which held this product.
Keep this material away from food, drink and animal feed. Do not
store this material in unlabeled containers.

Other Precautions: Safety showers and eyewash stations should be provided in the areas where this product is handled.
