Inhalation : Remove affected person to fresh air. If symptoms persist obtain medical attention.
Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention immediately.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Hazchem :2X
Suitable Extinguishing media : Carbon dioxide, dry powder and foam, water spray to cool
containers.
Not to be used : Water in a jet.
Combustion products :
Further information : Burning produces obnoxious and toxic fumes, Carbon oxides. Hydrogen
cyanide
Do not get water inside the container-gassing risk.
Remove container from the fire area if safe to do since heating may develop highly toxic or
corrosive fumes.
Wear self contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
After spillage/leakage : Absorb with suitable material like sand, earth. Seal in plastic
bag & bury in landfill. Flush contaminated area with
plenty of water
In addition please refer to local regulations for disposal.
7. HANDLING & STORAGE
Technical Protective measures : Keep containers tightly closed and dry. Store between +5?C
to +25?C. Store in conformity with local fire regu lations
Handling: Maintain good standards of personal hygiene. Use in well ventilated areas.
Suitable respiratory equipment should be worn when working in closed environments.
Product reacts with water to liberate carbon dioxide. Any ingress of water into the container can
generate pressure build up. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Protection against fire & explosion: Avoid use in confined spaces & sources of ignition.
