3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: The colored candle contains linalool, which may be harmful if
swallowed or inhaled and may cause eye, skin and respiratory irritation, and paraffin wax,
which may cause respiratory irritation if inhaled. Liquid wax may cause skin burns.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
INHALATION: Inhalation of linalool and paraffin wax vapors can cause nasal and respiratory
irritation.
EYE CONTACT: Linalool can cause irritation.
SKIN CONTACT: Linalool can cause irritation and liquid paraffin wax can cause burns.
INGESTION: Linalool may be harmful if swallowed and may cause stomach upset.
CHRONIC: No known effects.
CARCINOGENICITY: The ingredients in this product are not listed by NTP, OSHA, or ACGIH
as a carcinogen.
4. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician or poison control center.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water
immediately. Get medical attention if irritation develops or call poison control center.
EYE CONTACT: In cases of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty
of water for at least 15 minutes. If present, remove contact lenses after the first 5 minutes, and
then continue rinsing eyes. Call a physician or poison control center.
INGESTION: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physician.
Call a physician or poison control center. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person.
