HEALTH EFFECTS
Swallowed: Ingestion of high levels may cause nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, excessive
thirst, abdominal pain and anorexia in some sensitive individuals.
Eye: May cause transient stinging or redness if accidental eye contact occurs.

Skin: Slight skin irritation may occur in susceptible individuals.
Inhaled: Not applicable.
FIRST AID
Swallowed: Wash mouth out with water. Seek medical advice.
Eye: Flush out with a gentle stream of clean water for 15 minutes. Seek medical advice immediately.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use. Wash contact areas with soap and
water.
Inhalation: Not applicable.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Limits: Not established.
Ventilation: No special ventilation is recommended under normal conditions of use. No special
respiratory protection equipment is recommended under normal conditions of use with sufficient
ventilation.
Personal Protection: Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear eye protection (face visor or goggles) if
accidental eye contact can occur. Observe good personal hygiene.
Flammability: Non-combustible. Keep well away form heat and keep container closed when not in
use.

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage and Transport: Store below 20癈. Protect from light. Keep containers tightly closed when not
in use and properly labelled. Store only in original containers.
Spills and Disposal: Slippery when spilt. Contain with liquid binding material (e.g. sand, sawdust or
diatomaceous earth). Collect solid residues and seal in labelled drums for disposal. Wash the residue
from the contaminated area with water. Dispose of waste in compliance with local waste disposal
regulations.
Fire/Explosion Hazard: The product is non-combustible. Use powder, water spray, foam and Carbon
Dioxide fire extinguishers. Use water sprays to cool fire exposed surfaces and any adjacent storage
vessels. Slight fire hazard when exposed to heat or flame. Heating may cause expansion or
decomposition leading to violent rupture of containers. On combustion may emit toxic fumes. May
emit acrid smoke.
