Nervous System, skin, respiratory system, blood, kidney, and liver damage.

CARCINOGENIC YES X NO TOLUENE STATEMENT: Prolonged breathing of 2,000
TERATOGEN YES X NO ppm Toluene by pregnant rats was toxic to their fetuses
MUTAGEN YES X NO (reduced body weight, delayed ossification, skeletal
variations), but was not teratogenic. (API Study, 1986).
PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: skin, inhalation
FIRST AID:
INHALATION -If inhaled, remove victim from exposure to well ventilated area. Make him/her comfortably warm, but not
hot. Use oxygen or artificial respiration as required. Consult a physician.
SKIN - For skin contact, wash promptly with soap and excess water.
EYES - For eye contact, flush promptly with excess water for at least fifteen minutes. Consult a physician.
