PAINT FOR HORIZONTAL ROAD MARKING NORMAL
General use of the product:
The paint is designated for horizontal road marking for roads and motorways, airplane tracks,
town roads network, parking areas, playgrounds and sport grounds covered by asphalt or concrete
pavement. It is suitable for marking of national road network. It meets the special requirements of
roads building. It is applicable mainly by marking machines or by brush and roller as exception. It
should be diluted with Deko Professional BAT Summer thinner (suitable from April to August) or
Deko Professional BAT Winter thinner (suitable from September to April) as follows:
? For concrete and old asphalt pavements, in obligatory 6 ?8 %;
? For new asphalt pavements, if necessary ?up to 4 ?6 %.
Apply on dry, clean from mud, dust and oily stains surfaces, at surface temperature from 5 to 35

. Time to dry 85 -90 minutes, depending on the environmental temperature.

2. CONTENT
The product is a homogeneous suspension of pigments and fillers in thermoplastic acrylate resin
and organic solvents.
According to the EU-Directives 67/548, 88/379 and 92/32 the product is classified as a
dangerous substance.

3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
The product is flammable. Keep away from open fire when handling it. It may form fire
hazardous explosive mixtures with air. It's harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin. The
vapours of the organic solvents in it act as narcotic at high concentrations.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Symptoms arisen from prolonged expose: dizziness, headache, nausea, respiratory problems, skin
irritation and eye irritation.
Inhalation:
Remove the patient immediately to fresh air. In case of complaints, seek medical help.
Casual ingestion:
Don't give drinks and don't induce vomiting, if the patient is unconscious or with convulsions. In
case of prolonged complaints, consult with a doctor.
Skin and clothes contact:
Immediately change the contaminated clothing, wash the contact skin with water and soap and
rinse well. Don't use organic solvents!
Eye contact:
Wash eyes with fresh water for several minutes, holding eyelids opened.
Remove contact lenses. Call an eye-doctor.
Notes to the doctor:
There is no specific antidote. The treatment from over-exposure should be directed to control of
the symptoms and clinical treatment of the patient.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
General directions:
Remove all sources of fire: e.g. open fire, lit cigarettes, sparks from tools/equipment.
Always keep packages closed.
Suitable extinguishing agents:
Alkali resistant foam, dry chemical powder, CO2 and water spray.
Unsuitable extinguishing agents:
Lavish water spray.
Special hazards arising from the product itself, products formed as a result of its incineration or
gasses formed:
Take into consideration that dangerous gas products and thick soot might be formed when
burning.
Special protective equipment:
Using a gas mask and protective firemen clothing is recommended.

Additional instructions:
Extinguish fire in the wind direction. Cool the non-burning packages by sprinkling of water.
Prevent spillage and remove the packages to a safety place.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions:
Remove all possible sources of ignition.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment (see Item 8).
Environment precautions:
Prevent spillage in water basins, tanks, basements, drains and sewerage.
If the spilled product has penetrated into water basins, sewerage, the soil or plants, advise the Fire
brigade and the Police.
Prevent accumulation of vapours in closed premises.
Methods for cleaning up:
In case of spillage surround and mix the spillage with soil, sand or other similar inert absorbents.
Transfer the mixture to an approved safety disposal place and incinerate it under controlled
conditions.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE OF THE PRODUCT
Safe handling:
General precautions when handling the product:
Provide adequate ventilation when handling or keeping the product.
Don't exceed the concentration limits given in item 8!
Don't eat or drink at the working place. Don't smoke.
Observe the fire prevention measures.
Don't pollute the environment.
Storage:
Keep only in original, tightly closed containers, out of the reach of children or any other
unauthorized employees, in covered and dry storehouses, at a temperature up to 30oC, away from
direct sunlight.
The vapours may form fire hazardous explosive mixtures with the air.
The storehouses should be equipped in compliance with the local Regulations for storage of
flammable materials.
Don't keep the product together with foodstuff, drinks or fodder.
Packages should be marked with original labels stuck by the producer.
Observe the storage requirements indicated on the label.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROL AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
Technical measures for supervising the safety labour requirement observance:
Provide adequate ventilation in the working premises to ensure that the defined admissible
concentration limit of the harmful substances in the air of the working area is not exceeded

Use materials, which are resistant to organic solvents like rubber or special plastics.
Respiratory protection:
In case the admissible concentration limit has been exceeded for a long time or the product is
handled in small, closed premises, it is recommended to use a gas mask.
Hand protection:
Always wear protective gloves.
Eye protection:
It is recommended to use a face protective mask or goggles.
Body protection:
Wear non-static protective clothing and gumboots.
Other protective equipment:
The storage and handling places should be equipped with devices for washing/ eye rinsing.

10. CHEMICAL STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
The product is stable under normal storage conditions.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The product is classified as health hazardous ?see item 2 and 3 of the present data sheet.
Its classification is determined by a conventional method (given in EU-Directive No. 88/379),
based on the health hazardous characteristics of the individual components of the product.
Inhalation:
Prolonged inhalation of concentrated organic solvents present in the product, which exceed the
admissible concentration limit (see item 8) may cause irritation of the mucous tissue of the
respiratory tract or even affect the normal functioning of kidneys, liver and the central nervous
system.
Ingestion:
It may injure the digestive system tissue.
Skin contact:
Prolonged and intensive contact with the skin may cause loss of sub-dermal fats, as well as
dermatitis.

Eye contact:
Drops from the product or high concentration product vapours may cause eye irritation.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Volatility:
The product contains 23 % volatile organic components.
Biodecomposition:
This product doesn't decompose biologically.
Additional information
Prevent spillage penetration into the soil, watercourses, tanks, drains and purifying equipment.
It is recommended to incinerate the unnecessary product at a high temperature.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Any remainder of the product or waste material left from its application, as well as the used
packages should be disposed according to the local Regulations for processing of special and
dangerous waste products.
Recommended disposal methods:
Incinerate the remainder and waste material at high temperatures under control.
Disposal of waste material in special places approved for disposal of dangerous materials.
Recycling of the solvents by distillation, if possible, in case you can manage the problem with the
distillation residua.
Metal packages should be recycled in steelworks or disposed in specially intended places, if it's
not possible to be recycled for reuse.
