Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Allergy, Eczema, or skin conditions
Emergency and First AID Procedures:
Eyes: Flush at once with potable water for at least 15 minutes.
Skin: Wash with soap and warm water. Remove contaminated clothes. Wash before reuse.
Ingestion: Not likely to occur in normal handling. If occurs, give large quantities of water and get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is affected, get medical attention.
Section 4: Control Measures
HMIS Rating: Health-2 Flammability-1 Reactivity-0
Respiratory Protection: Avoid Breathing vapor mist or spray
Ventilation: Use with good ventilation
Protective Gloves: Wear impervious gloves
Eye Protection: Wear splash-proof chemical goggles
Other Protective Equipment Provide eye fountain and safety shower
Work/Hygienic Practices: Practice good industrial hygiene. Wash with soap and water before eating, smoking, or
using the restroom.
Section 5: Precautions For Safe Handling and Use
Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled: Keep spectators away. Floor may be slippery; use care to
avoid falling. Contain spills immediately with inert materials (e.g. sand, earth). Transfer liquids and solid diking
material to separate suitable containers for recovery or disposal. CAUTION: Keep spills and cleaning runoff out of
municipal sewers and open bodies of water.

Waste Disposal Method: Coagulate the emulsion by the stepwise addition of ferric chloride and lime. Remove clear
supernatant and flush to a chemical sewer. Incinerate liquid and contaminated solids in accordance with local, state,
and federal regulations.

Precautions To Be Taken In Handling And Storing: Keep from freezing; material may coagulate. The minimum
recommended storing temperature for this material is 34?F. The maximum recommended storage temperature for this
material is 120?F. Monomer vapors can be evolved when material is heated during processing operations. See Section 8
for appropriate control measures. Keep containers closed when not in use. Store in cool, dry place with adequate
ventilation.

Other Precautions: Appropriate protective equipment must be worn when handling a spill of this material. See the
personal protective measures section for recommendations. If exposed to material during cleanup operations, see
Section 3 for actions to follow.
