Extinguishing Media: CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant
foam.
Fire Fighting Procedures: Thermal decomposition may generate toxic gases. Self-contained breathing apparatus with a
full face piece operated in pressure demand is recommended. Water spray may be used to cool containers exposed to heat
Special Protective Equipment for Firefighters: Use self-contained breathing apparatus if necessary.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Ammonia gas may be liberated at high temperatures.

Steps to be Taken if Material is Released or Spilled: Cover spill with absorbent material and shovel into waste disposal
drum. Dispose of in accordance with state, federal, and local regulations. Dried material is not hazardous.
Personal Precautions: While wet, material is very slippery. Cover spills immediately with absorbent material.
Environmental Precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
