Emergency Overview
Eye Contact: Corrosive to the eyes. Vapor may be irritating to the eyes.
Skin Contact: Corrosive to the skin. Harmful if absorbed through the
skin.
Inhalation: Exposure to high concentrations of vapor may cause an
accumulation of fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema).
Vapor may irritate the upper respiratory tract and produce
nausea, headache and dizziness.
Ingestion: May cause severe injury to the mouth, throat and digestive
tract.
Routes of Entry: Absorbed through skin. Dermal contact. Eye contact.
Inhalation. Ingestion.

SECTION IV ?FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of
contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at

water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated
clothing and shoes.
