From eye exposure: May cause loss of sensation in the eye. May cause opacification or clouding of
the cornea. May cause cornea ulceration and/or blindness.
From skin exposure: Over exposure could possibly be fatal. Irritation/inflammation may result from
skin contact. Skin contact may initially cause a temporary burning sensation.
May cause localized loss feeling (anesthesia) such that contact may not be sensed
From Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. May cause substantial respiratory tract
injury. May cause respiratory arrest.
From Ingestion: May cause severe burns to the mouth. May cause severe burns to the throat.
May cause abdominal burning sensation.
Other/Systematic Effects: May cause systematic poisoning. May cause nausea and/or vomiting. May cause
diarrhea. May cause weakness. May cause tinnitus. May cause cyanosis. May
cause a loss of the power of muscle coordination (ataxia dyssynergia). May
cause convulsions/seizures. May cause respiratory arrest. May cause
unconsciousness/collapse. May cause death.
Summary of Medical conditions aggravated by exposure: Renal insufficiency, Hepatic insufficiency and chronic
respiratory pathologies.
4. First Aid: Obtain EMERGENCY medical attention for all potential significant overexposure. Remove
contaminated clothing and call physician.

In case of eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 20 minutes.
Adequate flushing is achieved by separating eyelids with clean fingers.
In case of skin contact: Immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water then consult a
doctor.
If inhaled: Remove to an area with fresh air. Give artificial respiration if not breathing and
call emergency services. Oxygen may be required if respiration is difficult.
If swallowed: Wash out mouth with water only if conscious. Call a physician immediately.
5. Fire-Fighting Measures: Combustible material. Flashpoint: 167癋/74.99癈
Extinguishing media: Use appropriate, non-combustible extinguishing media.
Special Procedure: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to
prevent contact with eyes and skin. Use water spray to cool fire-exposed
containers.
6. Accidental Release Measures:
Precautionary Measures: Shut off all sources of ignition and evacuate area. Wear self-contained breathing
apparatus, protective eyewear/goggles, rubber boots and thick rubber gloves.
Clean-up Procedure: Absorb on vermiculite or sand. Place in closed containers for disposal. Use
non- sparking tools. Finally ventilate area and wash spills when pick-up is
complete.
7. Handling and Storage:
Storage: Store tightly closed at 4-10癈.
