3 HAZARDOUS IDENTIFICATION

Direct contact with liquid or vapor may cause irritation.
EYE:

SKIN: Prolonged and/or repeated contact with the skin may cause irritation
characterized by redness, cracking and blistering.

INHALATION: Inhalation of high concentrations of vapors may cause
respiratory tract irritation and central nervous system depression
characterized by headache, weakness, dizziness, incoordination and possible
collapse.

INGESTION: May cause gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea and effects similar to those described under INHALATION.
Aspiration of this product into the lung may cause chemical pneumonitis
which can be fatal.

Individuals with pre-existing disease in or a history of ailments involving
the skin, eye, respiratory tract, liver, kidney, central nervous system are
at a greater than normal risk of developing adverse effects when exposed to
this material.
4 FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and
cool water for at least 15 minutes. If redness, itching, burning or other
symptoms develop or persist, get medical attention. Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse.

INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, have a trained
person administer artificial respiration preferably mouth-to-mouth. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention. Keep at rest.

4 FIRST AID MEASURES (CONT'D)

INGESTION: Do NOT induce vomiting. Give 1 glass of milk or 1 to 2 oz. (30
to 60g) of activated charcoal in water to victim as tolerated. Get medical
attention. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS
PERSON.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: There is no specific antidote for effects from
overexposure to this material. Treatment should be directed at the control
of symptoms and the clinical condition.
5 FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA

FLASH POINT: 110F/43C
AUTOIGNITION TEMPERATURE: No information available
FLAMMABLE LIMITS (% volume/air)
Lower Limit: No information available
Upper Limit: No information available
Use carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water spray or
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
foam.

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: As in any fire, wear complete fire service
protective equipment, including full-face MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent
self-contained breathing apparatus. Use water to cool fire-exposed
container/structure/protect personnel.

FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: When heated (fire conditions), can release
toxic vapors. Vapors may form combustible mixture with air. Vapors can
travel to a source of ignition and flash back. Closed containers may
explode when exposed to extreme heat (fire).
6 SPILL AND LEAK PROCEDURES

Stop spill/leak if no risk involved. Avoid breathing vapors. Eliminate
ALL sources of ignition. Ventilate area. Avoid contact with liquid and
fumes. Take up carefully to avoid heat and sparks. Use an inert absorbent
to complete a clean-up. This material reacts with oxidizing materials.
7 HANDLING AND STORAGE

HANDLING: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin or eyes. Avoid
prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors, mists or fumes. Observe good
personal hygiene practices and recommended procedures.

STORAGE: Keep in a closed, labeled container within a cool (well-shaded),
dry, ventilated area. Protect from physical damage. Keep containers
closed when material is not in use. Maintain good housekeeping.
Keep away from heat and open flame.

8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

ENGINEERING CONTROLS: The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended
to control process emissions and to control inhalation exposures below
current exposure limits. See OSHA requirements/NIOSH publication 87-113
"Confined Spaces".

RESPIRATORS: Not required under normal use conditions. If ventilation is
inadequate to maintain personal inhalation exposures below TLV (PEL), use
appropriate MSHA/NIOSH approved respiratory protection to comply with
current 29 CFR 1910.134 and manufacturer's "Instructions" and "Warnings".

OTHER CLOTHING: Safety glasses; chemical goggles; face shield, as
necessary. As required, chemical-resistant flexible-type gloves (heavy-
duty neoprene or equal). Wear industrial-type work clothing and safety
footwear. Depending on working conditions, i.e., contact potential, wear
resistant protective garments such as head/neck cover, aprons, jackets,
pants, coveralls boots, etc.
