PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
EXPOSURE STANDARDS:
There are no exposure standards allocated by the National Occupation Health & Safety Commission.
ENGINEERING STANDARDS:
Ensure ventilation is adequate. Keep containers closed when not in use.
PERSONAL PROTECTION:
Avoid personal contact. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wear cotton overall buttoned to
the neck and wrist, a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, face shield and disposable face mask.
After use and before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet, wash hands, arms and face
thoroughly with soap and water. Launder clothing and other protective equipment before storing or
re-using.
FLAMMABILITY:
Not flammable under normal conditions of use.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:
Not classed as a Dangerous Good by the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by
Road or Rail. This material is a not a Schedule Poison. Store in original container, away from seeds,
fertilizers, animal and human foodstuffs. Keep dry and out of direct sunlight. Store below 40潞C.
Keep containers closed when not in use.
SPILLS:
Use personal protective equipment as outlined above. Absorb onto inert material. Transfer into
secure containers for proper disposal Wash area with water. Do not reuse the containers for any
purpose. If there is a contamination of crops or waterways, advise emergency services or State
Department.
DISPOSAL:
For disposal after intended use: Triple or preferably, pressure rinse containers before disposal.
Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If recycling, replace cap
and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush,
or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill available, bury the
containers below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of
waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
For disposal after spill or accident: Dispose of sealed containers at an approved local waste
disposal site.
FIRE / EXPLOSION HAZARD:
Not Flammable. However, in case of fire protect against inhalation of combustion products. Incase
of fire, wear full protective clothing and self-containing apparatus.
Extinguishing Media: Compatible with all types of extinguishing media. Choice of media is
governed by other materials present
