Contact with mineral acids may liberate chlorine gas
Contact with reducing agents will generate violent reaction
evolving heat and gas
Product is hydroscopic. If powder is allowed to become damp
it will degrade in storage.

Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection

EFFECTS DUE TO EXPOSURE/OVEREXPOSURE

On skin - irritation leading to burns if not treated
In eyes - severe irritation. Damage to eye if not treated
immediately
Ingestion - burning of mouth, throat and alimentary tract.
Internal pain.
Inhalation - burning/irritation of air passages, possible
breathing difficulties.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID
-----------------------------------------------------------
Skin - Wash thoroughly with water. Dilute bicarbonate
solution may also be used initially to neutralise
acidity. If a burn has occurred seek medical attention
Eyes - Irrigate immediately with lots of clean water.
Continue for at least 15 mins. Seek medical attention as
soon as possible.
Ingestion - Administer lots of warm water or milk. Do not
induce vomitting. seek medical attention.
Inhalation - Remove person into fresh air. If symptons
persist seek medical attention.

HANDLING AND USE PRECAUTIONS

Do not allow concentrated material to contact tissue. Wear
Rubber gloves. Wear dust mask. Observe instructions on
labels. Do not mix with other products

STORAGE

Store at room temperature in original containers.Reseal
containers after use

FIRE AND EXPLOSION

Does not support combustion. In fire may release oxygen so
enhancing combustion

SPILLAGE AND DISPOSAL

Small spillages may be washed to drain with water. Contain
large spillages with sand or other inert material and
inform local authorities.
