Section 3 Hazards Identification
Primary Route of Entry: Skin, mouth and eyes.
Potential Health Effects: Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:
Eyes: Will cause burning if contact with eye(s) occurs. Degree of burn depends upon duration of contact.
Skin: Will irritate and burn the skin. Severity of irritation depends upon duration of contact. Rinsing contact area
immediately, with water, will dramatically reduce irritation.
Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. May cause burning.
Inhalation: May cause headache, nausea, irritation of nose, throat and lungs.

Section 4 First Aid Procedures
Eyes: Following eye contact, flush eyes immediately with plenty of water, for fifteen minutes. Assure adequate
flushing of the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
Skin: Following skin contact, wash area at once with plenty of water for fifteen minutes. Rinsing promptly with water,
will reduce irritation considerably.
Ingestion: If swallowed wash mouth out immediately with water, provided person is conscious. Give victim a glass of
water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention
immediately.
Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air if irritation occurs. Get medical attention.

Section 5 Fire Fighting Measures
Fire Fighting Procedures: Use self contained breathing apparatus.
Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Could release hydrogen gas, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

Section 6 Accidental Release Measures
Steps to be taken in the event of spills, leaks or release: For small spills: add inert absorbent, sweep up, and place
the material in plastic drums approved for disposal. For large spills: Dike to contain and pump into drums approved
for disposal. Follow all local, state and federal environmental regulations.

Section 7 Handling & Storage:
Handling: Handle with care and avoid unnecessary personal contact. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or
repeated skin contact. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed when not in use and during transport. Store at room temperature.
Materials or Conditions to avoid: Do not mix with strong acids such as Hydrochloric acid and Sulfuric acid. (Heat
can develop) Do not mix with any other products.

Section 8 Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Personal Protective Equipment:
General: Protect from clothing by wearing coveralls.
Eye and Face Protection: In cases where there is likelihood of eye contact, wear chemical goggles.
Skin Protection: Wear impervious gloves as a standard handling practice.

Section 10 Stability & Reactivity:
General stability considerations: Product is stable.
Incompatible materials: Do not mix with strong acids such as Hydrochloric acid and Sulfuric acid. (Heat can
develop) Do not mix with any other products.
Hazardous decomposition products: Could release hydrogen gas, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.

Section 11 Disposal Considerations:
Dispose of in accordance with all local, state and federal environmental regulations.
