Health Hazard Assessment
General: No toxicity information is available on this specific preparation. This health hazard
assessment is based on information that is available on the properties of its components.
Eye Contact: Liquid is irritating to the eyes and may cause pain, tearing, and inflammation. High
vapor concentrations may also be irritating.
Skin Contact: Liquid is mildly irritating to the skin. Prolonged or repeated liquid contact can result in
defatting and drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis.
Inhalation: Vapors may be irritating to the nose, throat and respiratory tract. High vapor
concentrations may cause central nervous system (CNS) depression.
Ingestion: The acute oral LD50 in rats is probably above 5,000 mg/kg. Relative to other materials,
this material is classified as "practically nontoxic" by ingestion. In humans, irritation of
the mouth, pharynx and esophagus can develop following ingestion of this product.
Ingestion of the product may result in vomiting. Aspiration of vomitus into the lung
should be avoided as even small quantities may result in Aspiration Pneumonitus.
Signs and symptoms: Irritation, as noted above. Early to moderate CNS depression may be evidenced
by giddiness, headache, dizziness, and nausea. In extreme cases, unconsciousness and
death may occur. Aspiration Pheumonitus may be evidenced by coughing, labored
breathing and cyanosis (bluish skin).
Aggravated medical conditions: Pre-existing eye and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by
exposure to this product.
UV3-W MSDS (Continued)
Other health effects: Intentional abuse, misuse, or massive exposure may cause multiple organ damage
and/or death.
Cancerous products or potentially cancerous: None found in Federal OSHA list.

First Aid Emergency Procedures
Skin: Wash material off the skin with plenty of soap and water. If redness, itching, or a
burning sensation develops, get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing and
decontaminate footwear before reuse.
Eyes: Hold eyelids open and flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If redness,
itching, or a burning sensation develops, have eyes examined and treated by medical
personnel.
Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below
the hips to prevent aspiration of the liquid into the lungs. Get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-
to-mouth. If breathing is labored, vie oxygen and get medical attention.
Spill or Leak Procedures
Spill or release: Clean up and contain all soiled product.
Waste Disposal: Dispose of wasted product in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Special Handling Information
Transportation and labeling:
DOT SHIPPING NAME: NOT DOT REGULATED
HEALTH: 1 FIRE: 0 REACTIVITY: 0
PERSONNEL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Ventilation: Use ventilation adequate to maintain safe levels.
UV3-W MSDS (Continued)
Respiratory Protection: Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors. Use a NIOSH approved
respirator to avoid overexposure, when anticipated exposure exceeds occupational
exposure limits. Use either an atmosphere-supplying respirator or an air purifying
respirator for organic vapors.
Protective Clothing: Avoid contact with eyes. Wear safety glasses or goggles, as appropriate. Avoid
prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wear chemical resistant gloves and other
clothing, as required, to minimize contact.
Additional Protective Measures: Use explosion proof ventilation, as required, to control vapor
concentration. Air-dry contaminated clothing in a well ventilated area. Launder clothing
before reusing. Not applicable to nonflammable materials.
Storage and Handling:Store containers in a safe, non-traffic area. Keep container closed and well
identified. When transferring product, use bonding procedures. Do not cut, drill, grind,
weld, or similar operations on or near empty containers. Keep liquid and vapors away
from heat sparks, flame or other ignition sources. Post NO SMOKING or similar
warning signs. Vapors are normally heavier than air and can be moved by air currents to
surrounding areas.
Regulatory Information
Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Regulations, 40 CFR 710: All chemicals are on the TSCA
Chemical Substance Inventory.
CERCLA and SARA Regulations (40 CFR 355, 370, and 372): This product does not contain any
chemicals subject to the reporting requirements of SARA Section 313.
Other Information: We assigned NFPA and HMIS ratings to this products based on the hazards of its
ingredients. Because the customer is most aware of the application of the products, the
customer must ensure that the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided,
consistent with information contained in the product MSDS. This information is
intended solely for the use of individuals trained in the particular hazard rating system.
