limited to carbon monoxide, phosphorus oxides, ammonia, short chain organics.
IV. HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
PRIMARY ROUTES OF
ENTRY & EFFECTS OF
ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE: Exposure may occur via inhalation of mist, skin contact or ingestion.
INHALATION: Vapor or mist from heated material may cause
irritation of the respiratory tract, experienced as nasal discomfort and discharge, with chest pain,
coughing and eye irritation.
SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause irritation, defatting, & redness. In severe
cases pain and swelling may occur.
INGESTION: May cause burning or painful sensations in the mouth, throat, chest, and abdomen,
nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause dizziness, drowsiness, faintness, weakness, collapse, and
coma.
EYE CONTACT: May cause irritation, experienced as stinging with excess blinking and tear production.
Excess redness and swelling of the conjunctiva may occur.
EFFECTS OF CHRONIC
OVEREXPOSURE: SKIN CONTACT: May cause sensitization and an allergic skin reaction in a small proportion
of individuals. May aggravate disorders of the kidneys.
CARCINOGENICITY : Not a carcinogen or suspect carcinogen.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST
AID PROCEDURES: INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. Call a
physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. Obtain medical
attention if irritation persists. Wash clothing before reuse.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water or dilute vinegar. Dilute stomach
contents by drinking water. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent
aspiration. Call a physician immediately.
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for several minutes. Remove
contact lenses, if worn. Obtain medical attention.
V. REACTIVITY DATA
STABILITY: Stable at ambient temperatures and pressures.
INCOMPATIBILITY: Material is alkaline and therefore, contact with acidic materials should be avoided. Do not mix
this product with nitrites to avoid formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines. Avoid contact with strong oxidizing
agents, strong acids or bases, aldehydes, ketones, acrylates, organic anhydrides, and organic halides.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION
PRODUCTS: If exposed to open flames, the following products are among those that can be produced: oxides
of carbon (carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide) and nitrogen, ammonia and organic amines, aldehydes and
phosphoric acids.

VI. DISPOSAL, SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
AQUATIC TOXICITY: Not determined, but believed to be low.
SPILL OR LEAK
PROCEDURES: Small spills: Soak up with shop towels or other cellulose based material. Avoid contact with the skin or eyes.
Large spills: Same as for small spills, but may require protective clothing and equipment to minimize contact.
WASTE DISPOSAL
METHOD: This is of concern only for a quantity exceeding many gallons of material. Dispose of in accordance with all local,
state and federal regulations. Incineration is acceptable where permitted under law.
NEUTRALIZATION
CHEMICALS: Dilute Acids: Vinegar etc.
VII. SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Eye Protection: Standard eye protection should be worn when using this product. Monogoggles. Avoid contact
lenses when working with any chemical.
Skin Protection: Protective gloves (butyl or PVC coated) should be worn is prolonged or repeated skin contact
occurs or is anticipated.
Respiratory Protection: Not required under normal use conditions. Use self-contained breathing apparatus in high mist
concentrations or during fire fighting procedures.
Ventilation: General (mechanical) room ventilation is expected to be satisfactory for use at room
temperatures.
VIII. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not breathe vapor or mist. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or clothing. Do not swallow. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep
container closed when not in use. Keep from freezing, this may damage container or cause product to separate, making it unsuitable
for use. Keep out of reach of children. Repeated exposure may cause liver and kidney damage. Any fluid can be "overworked" or
"overheated", causing it to break down. This overuse is identified by the sight of or strong odors, vapors or fumes not normally present.
The effects of these vapors have not been fully determined. After use of this product, clean and lubricate metal surfaces to avoid
staining and/or corrosion.
IX. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) STATUS: The ingredients of this product are on the TSCA inventory. CALIFORNIA Proposition 65: This
product contains no listed substances known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, at levels which
would require a warning under the statute.
