3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION:
Warning! Do not add nitrites. Nitrosamines (potential carcinogens) may be formed.
Inhalation: Not expected to be a relevant route of exposure. However, high vapor
or aerosol mist concentrations may be irritating to the nose, throat, and
upper respiratory tract.
Skin: Repeated or prolonged contact may cause defatting, oil acne, or
irritation. May irritate abraded skin.
Ingestion: May cause irritation, vomiting, nausea, or diarrhea.
Eye Contact: May cause irritation, experienced as mild discomfort and seen as slight
excess redness of the eyes.
Risk R22: Harmful if swallowed.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES:
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
while holding eyelids open. Get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while
removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention. Do
not reuse clothing or shoes until thoroughly cleaned.
Inhalation: Remove individual to fresh air and provide oxygen if breathing is
difficult. Get medical attention.
Ingestion: Drink plenty of water. Consult a doctor. May cause vomiting and/or
diarrhea.
5. MEASURES FOR FIRE FIGHTING:
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Water Fog, Foam, Dry Chemical, or CO2.
No unusual fire or explosion hazards.

Store in a dry place at room temperature. Keep containers tightly closed.

Skin Protection: Avoid skin contact. Wear chemical resistant gloves and
protective clothing.
Eye Protection: Wear chemical safety glasses with side shields, or full face
shield.
Use ventilation as required to control vapor concentrations.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
