SECTION III. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Transparent liquid. Mild fragrance. Causes reversible eye and skin
irritation. Practically non-toxic by inhalation. Breathing mist may cause
irritation. Practically non-toxic by ingestion.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
Eye Contact; Will sting and cause reversible irritation. Draize score of 20
out of a possible 110 (Rabbit, unwashed), clearing within 3 days with no
corneal opacity or damage to iris.
Skin Contact: May cause mild to moderate reversible irritation. Based on the
overall results of a 14-day primary irritation study in rabbits, product is
classified as slightly irritating to the skin (primary dermal irritation index
of 1.1). Practically non-toxic by skin absorption. LD50>2,000 mg/kg (Rabbit).
Inhalation: Practically non-toxic. LD50>200 g/L (Rat). Breathing mist may
cause irritation.
Ingestion: Practically non-toxic. LD50: 13 cc/kg (Rat).
Medical Condition Aggravated By Exposure: None known. Persons with
pre-existing medical conditions or sensitivity may be more susceptible to the
effects of exposure.
Chronic Effects: None known based on ingredient safety data, supportive
technical information and extensive product history.
SECTION IV. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes. If contact lenses
are worn, remove immediately as they may contribute to the severity of the
irritation. Contact physician.
Skin Contact: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Contact physician if irritation
persists.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, contact physician
immediately.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Contact physician
immediately.
