Effects of Overexposure: Excessive exposure by inhalation over an extended period of time may result
in the development of pulmonary diseases including pneumoconiosis and
silicosis. Skin and eye irritant. Can cause alkali burns and dermatitis.
Emergency First Aid:
Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Eyes: Flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. Consult physician if irritation
persists.
