Potential Health Effects
Skin Contact: Not expected to be a primary skin irritant. Prolonged or excessive skin contact may cause
mild skin irritation.
Eye Contact: May cause slight eye irritation.
Ingestion: Ingestion of large amounts may produce gastrointestinal disturbances including irritation,
nausea and diarrhea.
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapors may be irritating to the respiratory system.

Skin Contact: Wash affected skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eylids open.

Special Fire-Fighting Procedures: A MSHA/NIOSH approved self contained breathing apparatus should be
worn. Firefighters should wear full apparatus with full facepiece operated
in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.

Section 6 - Accidental Release/Spill Procedures
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Ventilate closed spaces before entering. Contain the
spill with earth, sand or other non-combustible material and transfer material to separate containers for recovery or
disposal. Wash floor area with hot water solution. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Wash
affected skin areas with soap and water. Keep spills out of all sewers and bodies of water. Surface may become
slippery after spillage.

Containers should be kept tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry well-ventilated place. Avoid freezing or excessive
heat. Good hygiene practices should be followed.
