3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION


EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: May cause irritation to the eyes. Slightly to non-toxic orally, dermally, and by inhalation. See
below for route specific details.

EFFECTS OF ACUTE EXPOSURE:
INGESTION: May cause nausea, vomiting and stomach cramps.
SKIN CONTACT: Causes irritation. Can cause redness, inflammation on prolonged contact.
INHALATION: Harmful if inhaled. Mists may cause coughing, shortness of breath, upper respiratory tract irritation.
EYE CONTACT: Liquid is severe irritant; may cause corneal damage and conjunctivitis. Vapour is an irritant; may cause corneal
damage and photophobia (light sensitivity).

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


INGESTION: Unless unconscious or convulsing dilute material with 1-2 glasses of water or milk. DO NOT induce vomiting.
OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. Take patient to nearest hospital or contact poison control centre. Take
container, label booklet or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
SKIN: Flush skin with running water, then continue flushing with running water for 5 - 10 minutes. Start flushing while removing
contaminated clothing. If irritation persists, repeat flushing. Obtain medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Obtain medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
EYES: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for 5 - 10 minutes and get medical attention.
