This Material Declaration Data Sheet is based upon information from the
Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), the European Information and
Communication Technology Association (EICTA) and the Japan Green
Procurement Survey Standardization Initiative (JGPSSI). This information is
published as the Joint Industry Guide for Material Composition Declaration
(JIG-101, April 2005) and can be found at:
http://www.eia.org/new_policy/jig_download.phtml.
Two tables were developed for the Material Composition Declaration Guide and
divided into Level A and Level B substances.
Level A material and substance thresholds are set by laws that restrict their use.
Level B material and substance thresholds are determined by industry due to
significant environmental/health/safety interest, hazardous waste management,
and/or a negative impact on end-of-life management. The default threshold for a
Level B material and substance is set at 1000 ppm.

Compliance for the above mentioned product(s) is based on raw material supplier
information and the Nazdar formula(s). This information can be used for compliance
with the regulations listed in Column 4 on Page 3 of this Material Declaration Data
Sheet without any formal guarantee as the product(s) is not analyzed on a regular
basis. However, based on our experience and knowledge, the purity requirements are
fulfilled.
For additional Regulatory information, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
available at www.nazdar.com or contact the Regulatory Compliance Department via phone (913-
422-1888), fax (913-422-2294) or email (regcomp@nazdar.com).
Refer to Page 3 of the Material Declaration Data Sheet for regulations which may apply to the
below listed product(s). For certain regulations, lot specific testing is highly recommended (e.g.

presence is desired to provide a specific characteristic, appearance or quality. If
listed materials or substances are contained in products or subparts purchased by
supplier and are incorporated, such materials/substances must be disclosed if the
supplier has knowledge (or with reasonable inquiry should have knowledge) of the
presence of such materials or substances.
A material is made up of one or more substances (e.g., an alloy is a

material, which in turn is made up of a number of substances).
Based on the Joint Industry Guide, Annex F, phthalates include the following:
Phthalates:
Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) CAS #: 117-81-7
Dibutylphthalate (DBP) CAS #: 84-74-2
Bis (2-methoxyethyl) phthalate (DBP) CAS #: 117-82-8
The item that the respondent is supplying (e.g. assembly, subassembly,
Product:
component, raw material). A product may include product families if the
products within those families perform the same function and have consistent
material declarations.
Substances are chemical elements and their compounds (e.g., lead (chemical
Substances:
element), lead oxide (compound), polyvinyl chloride (compound). Registry
numbers (RN) of the Chemical Abstracts System of the American Chemical
Society ("CAS" numbers) are attributed to all chemical elements and most of
their compounds and should be used for their identification.
