In initial, single-dose screens, Moisture Eyes鈩? Liquid Gel Lubricant Eye Drops was not irritating to the skin or
eyes of rabbits. In a 1-month ocular toxicity study of Moisture Eyes鈩? Liquid Gel Lubricant Eye Drops, rabbits
received multiple-doses by ocular instillation four times daily. There were no deaths or significant clinical findings,
no treatment-related effects on body weight, and no gross postmortem or microscopic findings related to
treatment.
Individual components of this formulation may cause eye and skin irritation when tested singularly. Toxicity
studies performed using Moisture Eyes鈩? Liquid Gel Lubricant Eye Drops showed no evidence of eye or skin
irritation.
