Emergency Overview: This product is a corrosive chemical which can irritate the eyes, nose and throat. High
levels of vapors can irritate and burn the lungs. Wash hands and exposed skin with soap and water after using this
product.

Potential Health Effects:
Routes of Entry: Inhalation, skin contact, eye contact, ingestion.
Inhalation: Exposure to may lead to irritation of the nose and throat. Inhalation of vapors in concentrations
above the TLV/PEL may lead to headaches, hoarseness, coughing, chest pains, fever, nausea and vomiting.
Skin Contact: May cause burns, rashes, dermatitis (red, cracked, irritated skin) and ulceration depending on
concentration and duration of exposure.
Eye Contact: Eye contact with Ferric sulfate solutions can lead to irreversible eye damage including
conjunctivitis and corneal burns due to corrosive nature of the material.
Ingestion: Ingestion of large quantities can lead to irritation to the G.I. system, shock, liver damage and death.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Dermatitis, asthma, conjunctivitis, upper respiratory conditions
and digestive problems.
Carcinogenicity: Not listed by NTP or IARC. Not regulated as a carcinogen by OSHA.

Inhalation: Move to an area free from risk of further exposure. Treat symptomatically if required. Get medical
attention if conditions persist.
Eye Contact: Flush with copious quantities of clean, lukewarm water at low pressure. Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash affected areas thoroughly with soap and warm water immediately after use of this product.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink promptly large quantities of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution, or in the
absence of these, drink large quantities of water.
