INHALATION: Inhalation of dust may cause respiratory tract irritation.
SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Flush the eye(s) with lukewarm, gently flowing water for 5-10 minutes or until the chemical is removed. Get medical
attention if irritation persists.
SKIN: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. If clothing is contaminated,
remove and launder before reuse.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs naturally, have casualty lean forward to reduce the risk of aspiration.

SECTION 5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Standard procedure for chemical fires. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus
and protective suit.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: The product is slippery when wet. Any dry product can form an explosive
dust/air mixture. For further information, see Section 7 Explosion Hazards.
Burning may produce oxides of carbon or nitrogen.
SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
SPILLS: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Avoid dust formation. Wear suitable protective equipment.
Should not be released into the environment. When mixed with water, spills are very slippery.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Remove spills promptly and do not flush with water. Product / water mixture will create slippery
surfaces.
SECTION 7: HANDLING and STORAGE
HANDLING AND STORAGE: Ensure containers are properly secured prior to moving. Keep container closed during storage.
Product should be stored in temperatures from 50-95F. As with all industrial chemicals, use good industrial practices when
handling. Avoid eye, skin, and clothing contact. Do not inhale. Do not taste or swallow. Use only with adequate ventilation.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Avoid creating dusty conditions. Risk of explosion with any air-dust mixture.
SECTION 8: EXPOSURE CONTROLS and PERSONAL PROTECTION
EYE PROTECTION: Wear safety glasses or goggles to protect against dust particles.
SKIN PROTECTION: Wear chemical resistant gloves and protective clothing.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: None normally required. Use a NIOSH/MSHA approved air-purifying respirator as needed to
mitigate exposure.
VENTILATION: Always store and use all chemicals in well ventilated areas. Do not breathe dust. Local exhaust/ventilation
recommended.
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Eye wash station and safety shower should be available in immediate work area.
Select additional protective equipment based upon potential for exposure.
