None
Sensitivity to Mechanical Impact:

Fire Fighting Extinguishing Media: Preferred media, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam.
Water may be used but could result in slip hazard.

Fire Fighting Equipment: No special procedures. However, wetted product presents a slip
hazard. Pedestrian and vehicular traffic must proceed with caution where wet product may exist.

Fire and Explosion Hazards: Dust in sufficient concentration can result in an explosive
mixture in air. Handle to minimize dusting, and eliminate open flame and other sources of
ignition.

Extinguishing Media to Avoid: Water may be utilized, but could create a slip hazard with
product.

Hazardous Combustion Products: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen.

Dust Explosivity: Dust in sufficient concentration may result in an explosive mixture in air.

Emergency Response Guidebook Information: No ERG# number indicated. Handle as
combustible material.

Dust Explosivity and Sensitivity to Static Discharge: Dust in sufficient concentration may

Accidental Release Measures: Product becomes slippery and difficult to handle when
solubilized; spills are best handled while still dry. Sweep up and collect dry product.

Recovered product may be used per label directions.

Absorb wet product with vermiculite or other inert material and contain for disposal.

Wetted or solubilized material may be utilized for dust control, erosion control, or as a soil
stabilizer per label instructions.

Product and absorbent may be allowed to air dry prior to disposal. Floors and similar surfaces
may be water washed to further remove slip hazard.

Avoid contamination of any body of water.

SECTION 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Precautions: No special handling precautions are required. End User should exercise caution to
prevent spills in work areas, which could result in slip hazard. Any spill should be cleaned up
immediately.

Storage Information: Store in cool, dry indoor location.

SECTION 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Skin Protection: Not normally required. Good personal hygiene practices can reduce potential
exposure. Wash with soap and water following any contact with this product, as well as before
breaks and meals. Shower and change clothing at end of work shift. If clothing becomes
contaminated, remove and launder or dry clean before reuse.

Respiratory Protection: Use NIOSH approved dust respirator as required to control exposure.
Follow ANSI Z88.2.

Eye Protection: Goggles (ANSI Z87.1 std; safety glasses alone do not protect from dust.)

Engineering Controls: Indoors, provide mechanical ventilation to prevent dust concentrations,
and to reduce potential exposure. Provide secondary containment to capture spilled product.
