Oral rat LD50: 240 mg/kg for 2,4 Diaminophenol Dihydrochloride("Amidol"). It is used in hair dyes & chemical tests. Pure Amidol toxic if
swallowed; may cause allergy(skin) w/ repeated contact. However, each 100 mg tablet contains only 1 milligram of it).
