CHRONIC EFFECTS
Eye: May cause permanent damage if prolonged contact.
Skin: May produce permanent damage if prolonged contact.
Ingestion: Can cause severe swelling of the larynx; skeletal muscle paralysis
affecting the ability to breathe; circulatory shock; and/or convulsions. May
be fatal.
Inhalation: Solvent vapors or mists of product can cause irritation of mucous
membranes, which may produce permanent damage if prolonged.
CARCINOGENICITY: Not listed as a carcinogen by the NTP, IARC, or OSHA.
TARGET ORGAN EFFECTS: Central nervous system damage.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED by LONG-TERM EXPOSURE: Central nervous system
disorders.
OTHER INFORMATION: Product may be fatal if swallowed or ingested.
HMIS RATING: See Section 15.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE CONTACT: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with large amounts of
running water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart to ensure rinsing
of the entire surface of the eye and lids with water. Seek medical attention
immediately. If physician not available, flush for additional 15 minutes and
then transport victim to medical care.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with large amounts of running water, and soap if
available, for 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get
medical attention. Wash clothing and decontaminate shoes before reuse.
INGESTION: If swallowed, immediately give 3-4 glasses of milk (if
unavailable, give water). DO NOT Induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, give
fluids again. SEEK medical attention immediately. Have physician determine
if patient's condition allows for induction of vomiting or evacuation of the
stomach. Do not give anything by mouth to a convulsing or unconscious
person.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, clear airway and
start artificial respiration. If victim is having trouble breathing, give
supplemental oxygen, if available. Get immediate medical attention.
OTHER INFORMATION: NOTE TO PHYSICIAN. Probable mucosal damage may
contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory
shock, as well as oxygen and measures to support breathing manually or
mechanically may be needed. If persistent, convulsions may be controlled by
the cautious intravenous injection of a short acting barbiturate drug.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FLASH POINT (method): 110篎 (PMCC)
AUTOIGNITION TEMPERATURE: Not known
FLAMMABLE LIMITS
LOWER EXPLOSION LIMIT: Not Known
UPPER EXPLOSION LIMIT: Not Known
FLAMMABILITY CLASS: COMBUSTIBLE
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water, Carbon dioxide, Dry chemical and Chemical Foam.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Products of combustion are toxic. Heated
solvent vapors can travel to an ignition source and flash back. Explosive
mixtures can form with air.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Thermal decomposition may produce toxic
vapors/fumes of hydrogen chloride, amines and other organic materials, and
oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
FIRE-FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS/EQUIPMENT: Firefighters must wear full facepiece
self-contained breathing apparatus in positive pressure mode as standard
Personal Protective Equipment when fighting chemical fires. Keep fire-
exposed containers cool with water spray.
NFPA RATING: See Section 15.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Use Personal Protective Equipment (See section 8).
SMALL SPILL: Warning!! Product is combustible. Remove all sources of
ignition and ground all equipment before use. Floors may become slippery.
Dike and contain spill with inert material (sand, earth, etc.).
LARGE SPILL: Warning!! Product is combustible. Remove all sources of
ignition and ground all equipment before use. Floors may become slippery.
Wear appropriate protective equipment and NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator
where mists or vapors of unknown concentrations may be generated (self-
contained breathing apparatus preferred). Dike and contain spill with inert
material (sand, earth, etc.) and transfer liquid and solid separately to
containers for recovery or disposal. Keep spill out of sewers and open
bodies of water. Dispose of in accordance with State, Local and Federal
Regulations.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: Keep container closed when not in use. Protect
containers from abuse. Do not contaminate drinking water, food or feed by
storage or disposal.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS: Store at temperatures below 140篎. Store containers in
a covered area. Check all containers for leaks. Keep out of reach of
children. Minimize body contact with this product as well as all chemicals in
general.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
EYE and FACE PROTECTION: Wear Chemical Splash Goggles where there is a
potential for eye contact. Use Safety Glasses with Side Shields under normal
use conditions.
SKIN and HAND PROTECTION: Protective clothing (long sleeves, coveralls or
other, as appropriate), when needed, to prevent skin contact. Rubber or
neoprene gloves, when needed, to prevent skin contact.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: In processes where mists or vapors may be generated,
a NIOSH/MSHA jointly approved respirator is advised in the absence of proper
environmental controls.
OTHER PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Safety eyewash and shower nearby.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: In processes where mists or vapors may be generated,
proper ventilation must be provided in accordance with good ventilation
practices.
ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROLS: Users of this product must be properly trained and
qualified in its use. As with all chemicals, take all necessary precautions
to avoid prolong contact. Keep this and all other chemicals out of reach of
children: minimize body contact with this product as well as all chemicals in
general. Because of variability of conditions which may exist, evaluation of
employee exposure by a professional Industrial Hygienist is
recommended.
