3) Hazards Identification
Physical Highly Flammable. R-11
Adverse Human Effects Can enter the body by inhalation, ingestion, or through the skin. Irritates the
eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
Liquid removes the skin's natural oils.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Vapours may
cause drowsiness and dizziness.
4) First Aid Measures
Inhalation Move the exposed person to fresh air at once.
Get medical attention immediately.
For breathing difficulties oxygen may be necessary.
If rapid recovery does not follow, apply artificial respiration.
Ingestion Do not induce vomiting.
Obtain medical attention immediately.
Skin Wash the skin immediately with soap and water.
Use a moisturiser.
Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Eye Flush with plenty of water for several minutes.
Make sure to remove any contact lenses before rinsing.
Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes.
If irritation persists, refer for medical attention.
5) Fire Fighting Measures
Extinguishing Media Use a dry chemical powder, foam or carbon dioxide extinguisher, sand or
earth.
Do not use water in a jet.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures Containers close to fire should be removed or cooled with water.
Use water to keep fire-exposed containers cool. Wear self-contained
breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing.
